We are delighted to be working with Little Recyclers to not only recycle unwanted items but to also fundraise for our schools. Our first collection resulted in a small donation to the school and we would like to go bigger and better! Families and members of the community are invited to drop in their items that they wish to recycle and Little Recyclers will help turn these items into much needed funds for the school! We are excited to share that Lime Wood Primary was proudly invited to take part in Open City's renowned Open House Festival 2024! This incredible event opens the doors to some of the most unique and remarkable architecture across London this September, offering the public a chance to explore innovative designs and iconic spaces. Working in collaboration with the architects from Studio Egret West, we were thrilled to showcase the unique design and state-of-the-art facilities of Lime Wood Primary. Attendees were treated to a tour, where they learned more about the thoughtful and creative architecture that underpins the school’s educational environment.

Lime Wood Primary receives award from Bexley

Lime Wood Primary Headteacher Miss Ingrams was thrilled to visit the Bexley Civic Society AGM last night in order to be presented with an award by The Mayor of Bexley Councillor Ahmet Dourmoush. The school has also been given a donation which will go towards further resources for their outside learning environments- thank you London Borough of Bexley!

Erith welcomes our new school Lime Wood Primary with grand opening celebration! We were thrilled to celebrate Lime Wood Primary's grand opening marking a significant stride in educational development and community growth. The momentous occasion which took place last week marked a significant milestone for all those involved in the development of the school and with its doors now open, the school is excited to show its commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a nurturing environment for young minds to thrive. Lime Wood Primary officially opened in September 2023 welcoming a cohort of Reception children and will continue to grow year by year, eventually into a three-form entry school catering for children aged 4-11.

Our first open day event!

The Woodland Academy Trust team were excited to host the first open day for Lime Wood Primary which opens September 2023. The team loved meeting the community and prospective parents. Community is at the heart for all of us at the Woodland Academy Trust and meeting so many families in our new school made it all feel increasingly exciting. The personal stories of how families have been watching the construction of the school for years was truly heartwarming.

Topping- Out Ceremony

A topping-out ceremony took place in 2020, to celebrate the last concrete being poured into the structure of Lime Wood Primary. The ceremony was led by Council Leader Teresa O’Neil and senior representatives from Bexley council and L&Q were amongst those who attended.
